The client

The Parts Alliance is a major force in the distribution of parts in the automotive aftermarket with a group turnover that exceeds £475 million. They are the UK and Ireland’s largest group of wholly owned and franchised businesses supplying OE and quality matching auto parts to national and local independent garages and workshops.

Media Group were asked to provide a solution to support their multiple brands with localised marketing campaigns.

The challenge

We were asked to build a scalable and diverse on line marketing portal that would support the network of trade branches throughout the UK with their marketing and promotion campaigns. The solution had to incorporate current and future brands, be user friendly and cost efficient.

The car parts industry is a fast paced business so the system needed to be able to react quickly to both local competition and changes within the market place.

The solution

Media Group designed a marketing portal that would allow their network to quickly and easily access a wide range of marketing collateral. Using on line templates with approved messages the organisation could create, personalise and order all their requirements via their own bespoke dashboard.

This saved on wastage and also allowed for much more precise, targeted marketing, while still guaranteeing unified messages throughout the network.

The outcome

The simple to use system enabled the independent network to produce high quality and professional marketing collateral that could be overseen by the Parts Alliance marketing team.

This resulted in more marketing activity at local level and an increase in business for the Parts Alliance organisation.
