
The client
Tarmac are the UK’s leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions organisation, with over 330 locations throughout the country. Their sites are quite diverse ranging from corporate headquarters and contract offices to quarries. 2015 resulted in a global brand change and solutions were sought for the rebranding of all literature and sites up and down the country.
The challenge
The variety of locations meant an opened minded and creative approach to the final solution. With modern offices, listed buildings and hard to reach locations many elements had to be considered, materials, planning, access and budget.
Many of the sites had bespoke requirements so we needed to gather information from all the sites on the collateral needed for each location.
Then we had to devise a solution to promote the new brand to audiences both internally and externally.
The solution
The Media Group team got together to deliver the ideal solution.
Firstly all the sites were surveyed and all the information was entered onto the Estate Management module of the Media Live marketing portal. This gave Tarmac a complete overview of what needed to be achieved and provided the fitting and installation departments with accurate information for the implementation.
The creative team then set about producing over 150 items of literature displaying and promoting the new brand.
The events team then utilised the Exhibition booking module of Media Live to book and organise collateral for events all over the country with interactive giant ipads and modular display systems.
The outcome
The client was extremely pleased with the innovative way we delivered the rebrand. Utilising technology and providing expertise in the right areas ensured the project ran smoothly.
The Media Live system now enables Tarmac to control all of their marketing and promotional collateral whilst also providing accurate information on their estate across the country.
