The client

The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) is the representative voice of independent community pharmacy across the UK.

The organisation provides over 14,000 members with industry legislation, training, insurance, marketing support and supply partnerships.

The NPA works to enhance the reputation of the independent community pharmacy sector, to shape public policy and to create an environment in which pharmacies can prosper, for the benefit of patients, communities and the NHS.

The challenge

Media Group were approached to provide a print management and technology based solution to support both the organisation and their members.

We were asked to deliver savings across the board and to introduce a modern and easy to use web based ordering system that members who were more prone to using traditional methods such as a fax machine could easily convert to using.

The solution

We initially looked at the marketing department and their promotional activities. Working with their internal designers and external publishers we successfully set up a working platform that through our supply network delivered a substantial saving on their operational literature, marketing collateral and industry publications.

We then set about building a bespoke web 2 print ordering system that enabled members to access marketing templates for marketing material that could be personalised, proofed, ordered and paid for via one single platform.

The outcome

The Media Group delivered the desired savings and the client was extremely pleased with the on line portal and the innovative way we enabled their members to order promotional material.

They were delighted with the approach we took and our relationship has grown in strength, seeing us as a supplier who will pull out all the stops to deliver the right solution on budget each and every time.
